About Me
Meet Nicole
Hello!
My name is Nicole. I don't think I would function without Google Calendar. I was recently a co-caretaker for both of my aging parents from over 2,000 miles away. I am proud of the fact that through that, my siblings and I have managed to maintain *mostly* functioning relationships, likely because I am the middle child. I learned early on how to keep the peace in my family of origin while simultaneously flying under the radar, and then, through my own therapy, learned how to keep my own peace within.
I work with women who have taken on a sense of super-responsibility in order to hold it all together. They are trying to disentangle caretaking from control, love from doing. Having experienced my own over-functioning, which looks different from yours, I have felt the relief of trusting others to do what needs doing so that I do not have to do all the things for all the people.
If you have felt twinges of liberation from the idea of letting go but still want to maintain control over your own peace, you’re in the right place.
